The amendment requires continuing education for residential builders for renewal of licenses by residential builders commission and prohibits a county or municipality from requiring additional continuing education.Summary of the bill as introduced: Makes the renewal for residential builders biennial and requires a licensee seeking renewal to submit a certificate of compliance with continuing educational requirements. This bill also exempts contractors from additional examinations by counties and municipalities if they have completed other continuing education requirements.
